Thanks to donor Michelle Rushford-Perkins for her $2000 donation to Soulfood Studios. This is enough to fund Art Camp 2018!! In addition, generous Facebook donations were also received from Jenny Casper Hamilton, Jessica Madsen Zimianitis,  Nicola Rushford, and Donna Kuiper. So grateful for their support!!

Our first art camp was a stunning success! Over 22 participants showed up!! A remarkable figure for a town of 250. Many thanks to Soulfood Studios Board Members - Joanne Dalton, John Woodyard, Diane Pierce, Nomi Sheppard, and by proxy Geri Mendoza's partner David Cochrane for volunteering their time. Thanks also to Chayo Duran, Sundar Woodyard, and Jenny Hamilton for helping out. Thanks again to Home Farm with the help of Charles Davis and Val Taylor, for the use of their space. We are so grateful to the artists who literally drove hundreds of miles to be with us.

As one parent wrote to me, "...my kids loved the art camp! Thanks so much for all your time and investment into doing it. "
